History of the school
With the divine blessing of Poojya Madivalayya Swamiji and well-wisher of the town Shri Basawaraj Patil, Dr Nagreddy Patil and many more have initiated in bring up esteemed institution Shree Kottala Basaweshwara Bharatiya Shikshana Samiti’s Vidya Mandir CBSE School which was established in the year 2006 in Kanagadda Building. Later a new building was inaugurated in the year 2011 by Poojya Sadashiva Swamiji in Nrupatunga Degree College Campus, Sedam.
Our school got the permission to start classes from standard I to V at a stretch with State Board Curriculum. The CBSE Curriculum was introduced in the year 2010 in the same building. In the academic year 2014-15 the school also got permission from CBSE to start class from VIII to X. The inspection for the same was held by the CBSE Team.
The school has started with 54 students and today it has reached a height with more than 1000 students with flying achievements from students. In the present date nearly 150 students are in medical stream, 300 students are in engineering stream, and many are in various streams.
The school aims at providing comprehensive modern education to the students in three tier-city at its best possible way and to develop their complete personality. Our school emphasizes on child centred teaching with ample scope for learning discovery.
The school also takes great initiative to make learning more interactive between teachers and modern technology is used as teaching aid. Location- The school is situated on a spacious land of 10.5 Acres. Affiliation: The school is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi, Affiliation No. 830345.
Courses run: From Nursery to X standard.
Examination Results: This year was the 11th consecutive year that our school secured 100% X standard result. 76 students appeared for the Board Examination, among which 05 students secured above 90% marks, and the rest also passed with flying colours.
