India was known as "Vishwaguru", the teacher of the world. But gradually, her position as a Guru is declining due to decline in our external education system. However, some scholars still feel that the knowledge that was imparted to Indians in the name of Western culture was initially adapted from Indian roots itself. India was the origin to the story of several leaders. Many of these leaders turned out to be leaders of public influence with their way of life and attitude that pertained to a better and uplifted standard of living. Initially, Gurukulas were structured where teachers focused on the overall development of
their peers and students. The overall development included their attitude towards problem handling, providing solutions, acceptance on the perspectives, facing challenges in their personal and professional life, and devotion to their hard work. To retain India's status as a Vishwaguru, we need to focus on India's power, mainly, the youth and the young adults, who have the potential to act at every situation and be the best in worldly competitions. This idea gave birth to Anvikshiki, a unit of Shri Kottala Basaveshwara Bharatiya Shikshana Samiti, a national institute for Leadership and Strategic Studies.
